ITM Institute of Hotel Management launches certificate courses in culinary, travel sector
The duration of the Culinary certificate course is 15 weeks, while the travel and tourism programme will last six months.
The ITM Institute of Hotel Management (ITM IHM) has launched specialised certification programmes aimed at boosting students’ skills and career prospects in the culinary and travel industry.
The institute is offering certificate programmes in Culinary Arts and Travel & Tourism. Aspirants seeking to build a career in the food industry can enroll in the 15-week Culinary course, designed to train students in Indian, regional, and global cuisines.
The course will prepare participants for professional chef roles through intensive hands-on training.

In addition, the management institute is also offering a Foundation programme in Travel and Tourism, with an IATA certification. The duration of the course is for six months. The course will cover topics including airline ticketing, reservations, fare calculations, and global distribution systems.

As per the institute, students from the 2023-26 batch have bagged internship placements in seven countries, including top destinations in France, New Zealand, and the United States. Notably, some students are receiving internship stipends of Rs 2 lakh per month.
