ISRO YUVIKA 2024 registration begins today; first selection list on March 28

ISRO Young Scientist Programme 2024: Students who are in Class 9 can apply through the official website, jigyasa.iirs.gov.in/registration.
NEW DELHI: The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) will open the registration window for the 'Young Scientist Programme', YUva VIgyani KAryakram” (YUVIKA) today, February 20. The ISRO YUVIKA programme aims introduce young students to emerging trends in the field of space science and technology.
As per the schedule, the ISRO Young Scientist registration process will conclude on March 20, 2024. Interested students who are in Class 9 are eligible to apply for ISRO Young Scientist Programme 2024 through the official website, jigyasa.iirs.gov.in/registration.
ISRO on X said, "YUva VIgyani KAryakram (Young Scientist Programme) - 2024 is now open for enrollment. Students in standard 9 (as of January 1, 2024), studying in India, are eligible to apply. Registration begins on February 20, 2024, at jigyasa.iirs.gov.in/yuvika".

The release of ISRO YUVIKA second selection list 2024 due to vacancy or non confirmation in first selection list will be done on April 4, 2024.
Shortlisted students will report at respective ISRO centres on May 12 or as intimated by ISRO through registered email of the student. ISRO YUVIKA programme will be held from May 13 to May 24, 2024.
ISRO has chalked out this programme to "Catch them young". The programme is also expected to encourage more students to pursue in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) based research and career.
