The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has concluded the Indian School Certificate (ISC) Class 12 maths paper today, March 9. According to the schedule, the ISC Class 12 maths paper was held for a duration of three hours, up to 5 pm.
Students are advised to reach their exam centres at least 40-45 minutes before the ISC 12th board exam starts to complete the entry and verification process.
Students will have three hours to write the ISC Class 12 maths board exam, along with 15 minutes of reading time before the exam starts.

As per the exam pattern, the ISC Class 12 mathematics paper is divided into three sections, namely A, B and C. Section A is compulsory for all students and carries 65 marks. Then students have to choose either Section B or Section C, each carrying 15 marks. The theory paper is worth 80 marks, and there is also a 20-mark project component.
Candidates will face a mix of very short, short and long answer questions in these sections to test their understanding and problem-solving skills in topics such as relationships and functions, algebra, calculus, vectors and statistics.
Total marks for the ISC Class 12 mathematics exam 2026 are 100 (80 for theory + 20 for project work).
As per the ISC Class 12 maths exam analysis, the paper is expected to follow the CISCE board exam pattern, with a mix of very short, short, and long answer questions that test both conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills.
