Download EBookThe Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has postponed the CBSE Class 12 board examinations 2026 scheduled to be held from March 12 to March 16, 2026, due to the prevailing situation in the Middle East.

According to the CBSE notice, the decision was taken after reviewing the current conditions in countries including Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and considering the "mental anguish of students and prevailing uncertainties”.
The board clarified that the postponed exams will be rescheduled and new CBSE Class 12 exam dates will be announced later.
CBSE further said that it will review the situation on March 14, 2026, and take appropriate decisions regarding the remaining CBSE Class 12 exams scheduled from March 16.
CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2026
The CBSE Class 10 board exams 2026, which were earlier postponed and rescheduled for March 2, 5, 6, and 7, were cancelled. They were later rescheduled for March 11, but have now been postponed again.
The CBSE Class 12th exam results 2026 declaration mode will be announced separately by the board in due course. All Class 12 students are advised to stay in touch with their school and follow official announcements carefully.
