IMU CET results 2024 declared for UG, PG; 14,360 qualified for BTech, BSc, DNS

NEW DELHI: Indian Maritime University has declared the Common Entrance Test (IMU CET 2024) results for admission into undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG) programmes. Candidates who appeared in the IMU CET exam 2024 held on June 8 will be able to check the qualifying status through the official website, imu.edu.in. A total of 14,360 candidates have been offered admission into UG programmes this year.

As per the IMU CET results 2024, a total of 409 candidates have been selected to pursue MBA in the university and 46 students have been offered admission into MTech programmes.
Those who obtained IMU CET ranks and are seeking admission in IMU campuses will have to register in the institute’s counselling portal. The IMU counselling 2024 schedule and the portal will be launched soon.
After securing IMU-CET ranks candidates have to approach affiliated or non- affiliated institutes for taking admissions as per their admission mechanism, it said. “Admissions to Diploma in Nautical Science programme in affiliated institutes are open only to ‘sponsored candidates’, i.e. candidates sponsored by Ship Owning or Managing Companies and who qualify in IMU’s CET for UG programmes,” it added.
On the other hand, admission to MBA programme will be based on IMU-CET rank, Common Admission Test (CAT), Management Aptitude Test (MAT), or Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) marks.
Qualified candidates will be allotted seats based on the rank, social category, availability of seats, and preference submitted by them. The IMU counselling registration fee is Rs 10,000 and seat acceptance fee is Rs 30,000.
