IMT Ghaziabad Placements: 100% placed; average salary rises 23%

IMT Ghaziabad recorded a 23% increase in average CTC which rose to Rs 15.28 lakh per annum.
NEW DELHI: The placement season at Institute of Management Technology (IMT) Ghaziabad placements for the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) 2020-22 batch has ended with 100% placements. A statement issued by IMT Ghaziabad says it has placed 517 students in 17 days.
IMT Ghaziabad also said that there has been a 23 percent increase in average cost-to-company (CTC), or salary offered, from the previous year’s offers.
The statement from IMT Ghaziabad says that the average CTC at IMT Ghaziabad was Rs 12.4 lakh per annum in the 2019-21 placements. For 2020-22, it increased to Rs 15.28 lakh.

IMT Ghaziabad Placements: Top salaries
The top 25% of the batch received an average salary of Rs 20.77 lakh per annum. The highest international package this year is Rs. 62 lakh, and the highest domestic package is Rs 29.5 lakh per annum. More than 50 students received jobs with CTC of more than Rs 20 lakh per annum. The average CTC of women students was higher, said the IMT Ghaziabad statement.
According to data shared for the National Institutional Ranking Framework’s (NIRF) management rankings for 2021, of the 616 students to graduate, 615 had been placed in the 2019-20 academic year.

IMT Ghaziabad Job Drive: Recruiters
The bulk of the offers came from banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI); consulting; information technology (IT); internet business; consumer goods; logistics; automobile; and pharmaceuticals. The highest placements were in the IT sector, followed by BFSI and consulting.
The IMT Ghaziabad campus recruitment process was held in virtual mode by most of the recruiters due to the Covid 19 protocols. More than 30% of this year’s recruiters were first-time ones.
Companies like Morgan Stanley, BCG, Accenture Consulting, Goldman Sachs, Google, Infosys Consulting, Emami International, TATA Consumer Products participated in the IMT Ghaziabad placement drive. More than 10 recruiters were listed in the 2021 Fortune Global 500 ranking list.
