IIT Jodhpur, University of Buffalo to launch center of excellence in artificial intelligence, data science

Under the agreement, IIT Jodhpur and UB will be exchanging students and faculty members for research purpose and work on AI and data science research.
NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur (IITJ) signed an agreement with University of Buffalo (UB) on IIT-UB joint center of excellence in artificial intelligence and data science.
The aim of the center of excellence is to advance long-term multi-institutional and international collaboration in educational and research fields relevant to academic, scientific, industrial, social, and cultural interests of both the countries.

Both the institutions will also be exchanging students and faculty members for research purpose. A team of professors from UB visited IIT Jodhpur for a discussion on collaborative projects involving faculty members of various disciplines. The agreement was signed by IIT Jodhpur, director, Santanu Chaudhury and University of Buffalo, professor, A Scott Weber.

The delegates from UB also interacted with students and faculty members of IIT Jodhpur on opportunities for education and research at UB.
