IIT JAM 2023 application correction window opens tomorrow at jam.iitg.ac.in

Candidates can correct some particulars in the JAM 2023 application form using their login credentials at JOAPS portal.

Download NowNEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Guwahati will open the application correction window for JAM 2023 tomorrow, November 10. Candidates can make changes to their JAM 2023 application by visiting the official website - jam.iitg.ac.in. The updated status of JAM application will be made available on the candidates portal.
The applications submitted by the candidates are scrutinized, and in case of any discrepancy in the uploaded documents, the authorities intimates the applicants about the defect in the application. It is mandatory for the candidates to rectify it before the last date. Failure to do so may lead to disqualification from the JAM 2023 exam.
“Applications shall be scrutinized to verify the data entered by the candidate with the submitted supporting documents, clarity of the photograph and signature. If everything is found to be in order, the application will be accepted. Otherwise, defects in the application will be marked and intimated to the candidate for rectification within a stipulated time,” reads the notification on the official website.
The notification further added, “The status of the application and defects marked in the application will be intimated to the candidates through e-mail and/or SMS. The latest status of an application will be updated after the receipt and re-scrutiny of the application. The status of an application can be checked at any point in time by logging in to JOAPS.”

IIT Guwahati will conduct the JAM 2023 exam on February 12, 2023. The JAM 2023 admit card 2023 will be made available on the JOAPS from January 10, 2023. The result for JAM 2023 will be published on the official website on March 22.
The scores obtained in JAM 2023 will be used for admission to over 3000 seats in PG programmes at 21 IITs. The scores will also be used for admission to over 2000 seats for PG programmes like M.Sc. and M.A. at various NITs, IIEST Shibpur, SLIET, and DIAT through Centralized Counselling for M.Sc / M.Sc. (Tech.) Admissions (CCMN).
