IIT Gandhinagar PhD registration 2024 begins at iitgn.ac.in, apply by March 20

Admission to PhD programme at IIT Gandhinagar will be offered based on written exam and interview.
NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Gandhinagar has commenced the registration process for PhD programmes 2024. Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can fill up the IIT Gandhinagar PhD application form 2024 online by visiting the official website, at iitgn.ac.in.
According to the official schedule, the last date to apply for IIT Gandhinagar PhD admission 2024 is March 20. IIT Gandhinagar will be announcing the list of provisionally selected candidates on April 3. The written exam and interviews are scheduled from April 8 to 22. The result will be declared on May 15.
IIT Gandhinagar offers PhD programmes in various disciplines such as Biological Sciences and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Cognitive and Bain Sciences, Computer Science & Engineering and Artificial Intelligence, Earth Sciences, Earth System Science, Electrical Engineering, Humanities & Social Sciences and Society & Culture, Materials Engineering, Mathematics and Physics.

IIT Gandhinagar PhD Admission 2024: Eligibility criteria
To be eligible for PhD admissions candidates need minimum of 55% marks or 5.5 CPI marks in MA or MSc, BTech or MTech or BS (IISc, IISER) or BS-MS (IISER) or equivalent degree in appropriate branches. This eligibility criteria is in general applicable at Institute level. Candidates can view the eligibility criteria for specific disciplines.
IIT Gandhinagar PhD Admission 2024: Financial support
Financial support of up to Rs 2 lakh is available for full time students for presenting their research work at international conferences.
A support of up to US $12,500 may be considered for full time PhD students for doing research work at the top universities or labs abroad for a period of 4 to 6 months.
