IIT Delhi, University of Queensland jointly offer PhD programme; apply by March 15

IIT Delhi: Candidates need to upload supporting documents while filling out the application form. An Expression of Interest (EOI) is also required .

Download NowNEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi along with the University of Queensland is offering a PhD programme for the 2023-24 academic session through its academy of research. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online for the PhD programme by visiting the official website- uqidar.org. The last date to apply is March 15, 2023.
Candidates with a background in science, technology. engineering, mathematics, humanities or social sciences are eligible for the PhD programme.
Upon successful completion of the programme, students will be offered a jointly awarded Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from both universities.
For the PhD programme, candidates will be supported by a generous scholarship. Through the programme, candidates will get the opportunity to study in Australia and India. Students will also receive travel funds and research training grants.

- Academic CV.
- Award or degree certificates from graduation or convocation.
- Academic transcript or consolidated mark sheets
- Evidence for meeting English language proficiency requirements.
- Contact details for at least two referees.
- Scanned copies of all competitive entrance tests.
- Other documentation.

Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps to apply as an Indian or international student (i-student)-
- To apply to the UQIDAR PhD programme, candidates at first need to apply for an available project.
- Candidates must meet the eligibility requirements for consideration for entry into the joint PhD programme.
- Candidates need to upload the compulsory supporting documents while filling out the online application form.
- Candidates also need to submit the Expression of Interest (EOI) online.
- Once EOI’s close, the EOI will be shortlisted based on eligibility, background, motivations and aptitude.
- If the application is successful, candidates will receive a formal offer letter.
