IIT Delhi Placements 2022: 20% increase with 650 offers on day one; Over 50 domestic offers over Rs 1 crore

IIT Delhi students saw around 650 full-time jobs offers, 20 international offers and over 50 domestic offers over Rs 1 crore per annum.

Download NowNEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi witnessed a 20% increase in job offers with around 1,200 job offers at the end of day of IIT-D placements 2022. Students bagged around 650 full-time jobs offers and around 550 unique job selections.
This number includes over 250 pre-placement offers (PPOs), many students have received multiple placement offers. The institute saw the participation off around 400 national and international companies offering over 800 job profiles across multiple sectors.
IIT-D recorded over 50 students receiving domestic offers with a packages of over Rs 1 crore per annum, In addition to this, nearly 20 students received international job offers from countries including Hong Kong, Netherlands, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, United Kingdom, and United States.

The placement period will be held from December to May for the full-time hiring of undergraduate and postgraduate students. This year, the top recruiters on the IIT Delhi campus on day 1 in terms of the number of students offered included American Express, Bajaj Auto, Boston Consulting Group, Enphase Solar Energy, Intel, Praxis Global Alliance, and Strategy&.
The IIT Delhi placements 2022 was conducted in both physical and virtual modes depending on the recruiter's convenience. The entire interview process was conducted in a one day. "At IIT Delhi, organizations are slotted to conduct their selection processes in a way to maximize the spread of recruiters and ensure a good mix of sectors on each day; thus, providing ample time for recruiters to make optimal selection judgments leading to better hiring decisions." read an IIT-Delhi official press release.
Speaking about the placement season, IIT Delhi, Office of Career Services, head, Anishya Obhrai Madan said: “We wish to thank and acknowledge all participating recruiting organizations for reposing their continuing faith in our students.
