IIT Delhi PG Admission 2026: Registration opens for MTech, MS, MDes, MA, MSc; apply by April 11

IIT Delhi Admission 2026: Candidates can access the PG application form through the official website at home.iitd.ac.in
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has opened registrations for its postgraduate and PhD programmes, including MTech, MSc, MA, MDes, MS, and MPP programmes for 2026. Eligible students can apply for these PG and PhD courses on the official website, home.iitd.ac.in, until April 11.
The IIT Delhi PG application form 2026 will be available only online. To complete the registration, candidates from the General, OBC, and EWS categories must pay Rs. 200, while SC, ST, and PwD candidates are required to pay Rs. 50.
The SC, ST, or PwD students admitted to postgraduate or PhD programmes are exempt from tuition fees. Foreign nationals are not eligible to apply for the IIT Delhi PG admission 2026.

IIT Delhi PG Admission 2026: Eligibility criteria
Candidates who have completed a bachelor’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 6.0 for General, OBC, EWS (5.5 for SC, ST, PwD) on a 10-point scale or 60% marks (55% for SC, ST, PwD) in aggregate are eligible for PhD, MTech, MS, MDes, and MPP admissions.
A relaxation of 0.5 CGPA (5%) is available for candidates with an MA in English applying for a PhD in humanities and social sciences.
For IIT Delhi PG admissions to full-time PhD, MTech, and MS programmes, candidates must qualify in GATE or another recognised national examination. For MDes, candidates must have a valid CEED score .
Candidates who have completed a bachelor’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 5.5 for General, OBC, EWS (5.0 for SC, ST, PwD) or 55% marks (50% for SC, ST, PwD) in aggregate are eligible for MSc and MA programmes.
Graduates from CFTIs who have JEE -based degrees with a CGPA of 8.0 or higher do not need to take GATE or any other national exam.
