IIM Ahmedabad Placements: BCG top recruiter with 47 offers in first cluster

IIM Ahmedabad Placement: Top recruiters include Accenture Strategy, American Express, Bain & Company, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Monitor Deloitte etc.
NEW DELHI: The Boston Consulting Group made the highest number of offers, 47, in the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad placement 2021-22 for the PGP class. IIM Ahmedabad conducted the first cluster of placement on February 8.
The companies that participated in Cluster 1 include six cohorts such as investment banking and markets, management consulting, advisory consulting, niche consulting, cards and financial advisory and private equity, venture capital and asset management.

The companies such as Accenture Strategy, American Express, ARGA Investment Management LP, Arthur D Little, A&W Capital, Bain & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Sanford C. Bernstein, Citibank, EY Parthenon, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase & Co., Kearney, McKinsey & Company, Monitor Deloitte, Oliver Wyman, Premji Invest, PwC, Standard Chartered, and The Xander Group among others participated in the placement drive.

“IIMA has always had an extremely rich mix of firms from diverse sectors. Consulting firms, offering management consulting roles continue to hire in large numbers. This reinforces the strength of the management program at IIMA. Boston Consulting Group made the highest number of offers (47) including pre-placement offers. Accenture Strategy was the largest recruiter with 32 offers across 2 roles in the Cluster 1 process” said IIMA in an official statement.

Finance firms offered (including pre-placement offers) roles in investment banking, private equity, venture capital and capital markets across functions. Goldman Sachs made the highest number of offers (including pre-placement offers) – 7, followed by American Express - 5 in Cluster 1.
The second cluster of PGP Placement will be held on February 11, 2022.
BCG was also the top recruiter with 26 offers in the first cluster of the summer placement process for the PGP class of 2023 held on November 16, 2021.
