IIIT Hyderabad UGEE, PGEE 2026 registration deadline extended to April 5; exams on May 2

IIIT Hyderabad Admission 2026: Candidates can apply for the IIITH UG and PG entrance exam through the official website, iiit.ac.in
The International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Hyderabad has extended the registration deadline for the Undergraduate Entrance Examination (UGEE 2026) and Postgraduate Entrance Examination (PGEE 2026) to April 5. Eligible candidates can apply for the IIITH UGEE and PGEE college entrance test through the official website at iiit.ac.in.
As per the schedule, IIIT Hyderabad will conduct UGEE and PGEE on May 2. The IIITH UGEE exam will be held from 9 am to 12 noon, while the IIITH PGEE 2026 exam will be conducted from 2 pm to 5 pm, each with a duration of three hours.
IIIT Hyderabad will issue UGEE and PGEE 2026 admit cards 10 days before the exam. The interviews for IIIT Hyderabad UG admissions will be held from June 4 to 6. For PG admissions, the master of science by research interviews will be conducted on June 10 and 11, while PhD interviews will be held on June 12 and 13.
The IIIT Hyderabad PG Entrance Examination is for admission into Master of Technology (MTech), Master of Science (MS) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programmes. The IIIT Hyderabad UG Entrance Examination is for admission into dual degree programmes, BTech and Master of Science by Research.
IIIT Hyderabad PGEE, UGEE eligibility criteria 2026
Candidates who have completed a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks are eligible to apply for the IIITH PGEE 2026.
Students who have passed Class 12 or equivalent with physics, chemistry, and maths between 2023 and June 2026 are eligible to apply for the IIITH UGEE 2026.
To complete the IIIT Hyderabad UGEE application form, male candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 3,100, while female candidates will have to pay Rs 1,550. For IIIT Hyderabad PGEE, the application fee is Rs 3,100 for both male and female candidates.
