ICSI CS Foundation 2022 from June 15; Admit card, time table, exam instructions

NEW DELHI: The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) will conduct CS Foundation exams on June 15 and June 16, 2022. The admit card of CS Foundation June 2022 has already been issued on May 21, 2022. The CS Foundation June 2022 will be held in two shifts, in remote proctored mode. The institute has released detailed exam instructions for the candidates.

Candidates appearing in the CS exams must have a valid admit card, along with a student ID card. The admit card can be downloaded from the CS examination website - icsi.edu, by using the 17-digit registration number.

CS Foundation exam instructions

The CS Foundation exam day instructions provided by ICSI are divided into three sections - general, exam instructions for remote proctoring , and operating instructions.

Part 1: General instructions

• Candidates should verify all the details mentioned on the ICSI CS Foundation admit card very carefully. In case of any discrepancy, they should contact the authorities of ICSI.

• Candidates should download the safe exam browser in their systems before appearing in the examination.

• Candidates are only allowed to keep their important documents with them for verification like admit card and photo ID cards while appearing for the exam.

• Candidates should log in to their systems at least 40 minutes before the commencement of the exam.

• The candidates are not allowed to keep any kind of electronic gadgets or documents.

• On the second day of the CS Foundation 2022 exam, the candidates are allowed to use an ordinary calculator (with 12 digits, 6 functions, and 2 memories) and rough sheets for calculation.

Part 2: Instructions for remote proctoring

• The place of the exam should be noise-free with no other persons in the room except the candidate.

• The candidate should be ready with a google chrome 8.0 version and above, a webcam with a good quality microphone, and Windows 8 or 10 operating system.

• Internet bandwidth of a minimum of 2MBPS (4G/Wi-Fi) is required.

• Candidates will be required to copy and paste the test-taking URL and log in using the ID and password provided to each candidate separately via Email and SMS before the commencement of the exam.

• Candidates will not be allowed to leave the room until the exam is over.

Part 3: Operating instructions

• Candidates can ask for help from the invigilator if facing an issue operating the exam window.

• Do not close the exam window or restart the system after the commencement of the exam.

• Candidates should click on the “done” option once they have completed the CS Foundation exam 2022.
