The Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) conducted the ICSE Class 10 board exam 2026 for the Geography paper from 11 am to 1 pm today. To pass the ICSE Class 10 Geography exam 2026, students must score at least 35 marks out of 100.

ICSE Geography Question Paper Analysis 2026

Subject experts and several coaching centres shared the unofficial answer keys and analysis after the ICSE Class 10 Geography paper ended.

As per the several media reports, the ICSE Class 10th Geography paper was moderate in difficulty. Students and subject experts decribed the paper as balanced and moderately challenging. The map working was easy and scoring, section B in the Geography paper has some trickey questions while the section A was easy and scoring, as per the feedback from students and experts.

The 10th Geography theory paper will hold 80 marks and will be divided into two parts. Students get 15 minutes of reading time before the exam begins.

The compulsory part 1 of the Class 10 Geography exam will contain 30 marks with map work and short-answer questions. The Part 2 will have descriptive questions worth 50 marks and students should have to attempt any 5 from the choices.

Remaining 20 marks of the ICSE Class 10 Geography paper will be given based on internal assessment, which includes projects, practical work, and assignments.

ICSE Class 10 Exams 2026

CISCE will conduct the next exam on March 23 for Group III-Elective-Section A: Carnatic Music, Commercial Applications, Computer Applications, Drama, Economic Applications, Environmental Applications, Fashion Designing, French, German, Hindustani Music, Home Science, Hospitality Management, Indian Dance, Mass Media & Communication, Physical Education, Spanish, Western Music, Yoga, Technical Drawing Applications.

Students must carry their school ID and board exam admit card to the ICSE Class 10th exam hall. No electronic devices such as mobile phones, calculators, smart watches, or other items are allowed inside the examination hall.
