ICSE Class 10 Chemistry Paper 2026 : Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) concluded the ICSE Class 10 Chemistry exam. The examination was conducted from 11 am to 1 pm. As per the analysis by educators and student reactions, the paper was moderate, balanced, and largely manageable.

The ICSE Class 10 board exams 2026 are being conducted from February 17 to March 30. Students get an extra 15 minutes to read the question paper before they start writing.
The question paper for the chemistry exam was distributed at 10:45 am, while candidates were to take their seats in the examination hall by 10:30 am.

ICSE Class 10 Chemistry Question Paper 2026 Analysis
The ICSE Class 10 Chemistry paper 2026 was largely considered balanced and manageable by students and experts. As per Sanusree Sarkhel from department of chemistry and headmistress, St. Augustine’s Day School, Shyamnagar, the questions were clear and well-structured, with several application-based questions designed to test students’ analytical skills.
She noted that the numerical problems were moderate and could be solved with proper step-wise methods, making the paper approachable for well-prepared students.While a few candidates found some application-based questions slightly tricky, overall the exam was fair and scoring, effectively assessing both fundamental knowledge and conceptual understanding of chemistry at the Class 10 level. Students who had practiced previous years’ question papers and developed strong conceptual clarity are expected to perform well.
ICSE Chemistry Paper 2026: Passing Marks
CISCE is likely to declare the ICSE Class 10 board exam results 2026 between April and May. To clear the ICSE Class 10 Chemistry exam, students must obtain at least 33 marks out of 100.
To successfully pass the ICSE Class 10 board exams, students are required to qualify in a minimum of five subjects, including English. The Chemistry paper carries a total of 100 marks, with 80 marks allotted to the written examination and 20 marks assigned to internal assessment.
