HP Assembly Election 2022: BJP manifesto promises bicycle for every girl students from Class 6 to 12, and scooty for girl students pursuing higher studies.
NEW DELHI: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president JP Nadda has promised to establish five new medical colleges, 8 lakh job opportunities and bicycles for students of Class 6 to 12 in its manifesto for Himachal Pradesh elections 2022.
JP Nadda on Sunday released the party's manifesto for the Himachal Pradesh Assembly polls. The party had formed a committee to take suggestions from the general public to draft the manifesto. The BJP is eyeing to change the trend of alternate governments in Himachal Pradesh. Elections for the 68-member Himachal Pradesh Assembly will be held on November 12, 2022.
Addressing the public, the party president said, “A bicycle will be distributed for every daughter of Class 6 to 12. And, a scooty for girl students pursuing higher studies.”

The BJP government will also begin Him Startup scheme for youth. As part of the scheme, a fund of Rs 900 crore will be created to promote the startup, he said.
He further said that the BJP will provide 8 lakh job opportunities for the youth and this will include government jobs and works underway in economic zone. He also promised 33 percent reservation for women in government jobs.

“We'll open 5 new medical colleges here. Keeping in mind health infrastructure and to further strengthen primary health. Number of mobile clinics will be doubled in every assembly constituency so that people in far-off areas can avail health benefits,” the BJP chief said.
