Haryana Board postpones HBSE 10th compartment, DElEd exams scheduled for August 1, 2

HBSE postponed Class 10 improvement exams 2023 for English, Hindi and DElEd exams till further notice in view of Nuh violence.
NEW DELHI : The Board of Secondary Education, Haryana has postponed Class 10 compartment exams 2023 and DElEd exam 2023 for first year, reappear, and special chance scheduled for today, August 1, and tomorrow, August 2, till further notice, board chairman VP Yadav and secretary Krishna Kumar informed. The decision has been taken in view of Nuh violence.
Haryana Board 10th improvement, compartment, additional, and special chance exams 2023 were scheduled for English subject today and for Hindi tomorrow whereas DElEd exam was scheduled for tomorrow, August 2.
The board chairman said that earlier it was decided to postpone the secondary (educational) and DElEd (regular/re-appear/mercy chance) exams scheduled for August 1 and 2 in the examination centres of Nuh and Palwal districts due to Section-144 and imposition of curfew.
However, due to the present situation, Class 10 English and Hindi exams and DElEd (regular/re-appear/mercy chance) examinations scheduled on these dates across the state have been postponed till further orders, the chairman added.
The HBSE chairman further said that the next date of the postponed exams will be announced soon. “Regarding this, all the concerned candidates should visit the official website of the board from time to time,” VP Yadav said.
Both Class 10 improvement exams 2023 and DElEd exams commenced from July 27. As per the datesheets, DElEd exams are scheduled to end on August 22 while Class 10 improvement exams 2023 will continue till August 4.
