GATE cut-off 2025 drops for electrical, aerospace engineering; 7,47,319 take exam

Download NowNEW DELHI : The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has notified the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) cut-off 2025. The category-wise GATE 2025 cut-off along with the number of candidates who registered and appeared for the exams are available on the official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
GATE qualifying cut-off 2025 has decreased for electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, biotechnology, physics papers. However, GATE cut-off marks 2025 have gone up for mechanical engineering and life sciences subjects.
How many candidates applied for GATE 2025?
A total of 9,36,019 candidates applied for the GATE 2025 while 7,47,319 wrote the exam. The computer science and information technology paper saw the maximum number of registrations, 2,07,851, and 1,70,825 taking the test.
GATE 2025 qualifying cut-off is the minimum score required to clear the exam for admission to MTech programmes and recruitment to Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs). The institutes release their admission cut-offs separately.
GATE 2025 result was declared on March 19. Rahul Kumar Singh topped the CSE exam with 100 marks. GATE 2025 final answer key and master question papers are also out. The exam was held on February 1, 2, 15, and 16 in two shifts.
