Download NowNEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT Kanpur) has activated the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2023) mock test link. Candidates who have registered for GATE 2023 exam will be able to take the GATE mock test 2023 on the official website, gate.iitk.ac.in.
Candidates will have to select the GATE question paper they wish to take a mock test. The mock test will be based on the GATE 2022 paper from last year. It also aims to familiarise the students with the exam pattern and nature.
IIT Kanpur said, “The exam environment is very similar to what you will experience during the actual exam (GATE 2023). However, there may be certain changes in the final version of the exam. Also, some of the features may not be enabled in the current links.”
GATE 2023 exam dates are scheduled on February 4, 5, 11, and 12, 2023. The total duration of the GATE 2023 mock test is 180 minutes, same as the actual examination. The question paper will have two sections - subject specific section consisting of the question of 85 marks and the General Aptitude (GA) of 15 marks. Students must note that there will be negative marking for each incorrect answer.

Candidates who are appearing for the GATE 2023 exam can access the mock test link in a few simple steps given below.
- Visit the IIT-K GATE 2023 website, gate.iitk.ac.in.
- Click on the mock test link on the home page.
- Now click on the link of the paper appearing for
- A login portal will appear.
- Enter the login details and click on sign in button
- Question Papers will appear
- The test will have a timer that will indicate the time and stop when the exam ends.
