IITK has started the GATE 2022 registration process from today, September 2. Candidates can apply for GATE 2022 exam till September 24.

Download NowNEW DELHI : The Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur has started the GATE 2022 registration process from today, September 2. Candidates interested in applying for GATE exam have to submit the duly filled GATE application form 2022 before the last date which is September 24. To fill the GATE 2022 application form , candidates have to first register themselves at GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS).
The GATE 2022 application form consists of many steps such as registration, filling a detailed form, uploading relevant documents, and payment of application fee. Candidates are advised to keep all the required documents for GATE 2022 registration handy to avoid any last minute rush.
GATE 2022 registration - 5 things to keep in mind

One applicant can fill only one application form - GATE 2022 aspirants should note that a candidate appearing in one or two papers must fill only one GATE application form 2022. In case of multiple applications, only one will be accepted and remaining applications will be rejected without any refund for the paid fee.

Select correct GATE 2022 paper combination - The authorities have allowed candidates to apply for one or two papers, however, students are required to select the GATE two paper combinations from the list released at gate.iitkgp.ac.in.

Two new subjects are introduced - This year, IITK has introduced two new GATE papers - Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering and Geomatics Engineering. Candidates looking for admission into these fields can now select the papers while filling out the GATE 2022 application form.

Students applying for two papers have to pay a fee separately - Candidates who wish to apply for two papers have to pay the GATE 2022 application fee separately for both papers.

Check eligibility criteria before applying - Students are advised to check the GATE 2022 eligibility criteria before applying for the entrance exam. Candidates who fails to meet the eligibility criteria laid down by the authorities will not be offered admission.
GATE 2022 will be conducted by IIT K on February 5, 6, 12 and 13. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national examination conducted jointly by Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore and seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) for admission to postgraduate courses in the participating institutes.
