GAT B 2026 BET registration begins for PG in Biotechnology, DBT JRF; exam on May 17
The GAT B 2026 BET will be conducted in dual shifts. The morning shift will be held from 9 am to 12 noon, while the afternoon shift will take place from 3 to 6 pm.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the registration process for the Graduate Aptitude Test - Biotechnology (GAT-B) 2026 Biotechnology Eligibility Test (BET). Eligible candidates can apply for the GAT B 2026 BET through the official websites at exams.nta.nic.in/gat-bet/ or nta.ac.in.
Candidates can register for the GAT B 2026 BET for admission to post graduate programmes in Biotechnology, allied areas, and for award of DBT - Junior Research Fellowship (DBT-JRF) by April 9.
The testing agency will open the correction facility for GAT B 2026 BET from April 11 to 13. The computer based college entrance test will be held on May 17 for a duration of three hours.

Candidates can only apply for the GAT - B 2026 BET through online mode, and application form in any other mode will not be accepted, according to an official notification.
“Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate. Multiple Application Forms submitted by a candidate will not be accepted under any circumstances,” NTA said.
