FMGE June 2023 Result: Last date to collect pass certificates extended till February 2024

NEW DELHI: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has provided a “last opportunity” to candidates who qualified the Foreign Medical Graduate Exam (FMGE) to collect their pass certificates by February 28, 2024. The board took the decision after observing that some qualified candidates have not collected their certificates.

“It has been noted that some candidates have failed to collect their FMGE Pass certificates on their assigned schedules or even thereafter,” NBEMS said in an official notice. “All such candidates who have been declared qualified in Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) and have not collected their FMGE Pass Certificates are being given a last opportunity to collect the same latest by 28th February 2024,” it added.

The board informed that such candidates will have to get prior appointment from NBEMS to collect pass certificates by sending a request on the Communication Web Portal (CWP). Students will be required to visit the NBEMS office as per their appointment and documents to be brought will be notified during appointment scheduling.

Explaining that candidates who are declared qualified in FMGE are issued pass certificates after in-person verification of identity and documents, NBEMS said, “The FMGE Pass certificate will be issued only on production of prescribed documents and on verification of identity, including biometrics/Face ID, as may be applicable.” “The Pass Certificates shall NOT be issued to any authorized representative or any person other than the candidate himself/herself under any circumstances,” it stated.

The board lastly said that in case a candidate who has not collected the pass certificate fails to get it even by February 28 next year, it will be assumed that they do not have the required documents and their candidature will be cancelled. NBEMS will not provide any further opportunity to claim the pass certificate.
