Federal bank invites applications for Federal Bank Hormis Scholarship 2021-22

Students of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Maharashtra pursuing MBBS, engineering, BSc Nursing, BSc Agriculture, MBA are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
NEW DELHI: Federal Bank has invited applications for Federal Bank Hormis Scholarships for the academic year 2021-22. The students pursuing MBBS, Engineering, BSc Nursing, BSc Agriculture including BSc (Hons) Co-operation and Banking with Agriculture Sciences conducted by agriculture universities and MBA are eligible to apply for the scholarship. The students applying for the scholarship should have secured admission under merit in government aided or government recognized self-financing colleges during the academic year 2021-22. The scholarship is instituted in memory of the founder of the Bank, Late K P Hormis.

The selected students will be reimbursed 100% of tuition fees and other educational expenses paid as per the fee structure of the college. The maximum limit is Rs.1 Lakh per year. The students can apply for the scholarship on the official website of the Federal band on federalbank.co.in/corporate-social- before December 31. Students of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and Maharashtra are eligible to apply for the scholarship. The annual family income of the students applying for the scholarship should be below Rs 3,00,000.

“The children of armed forces personnel who gave up their life for the nation will be considered under a separate channel and the family income stipulation is not applicable to students falling under this category,” said the press statement.
The scholarship will reserve one seat in each discipline for physically challenged students, and the students applying under this category will have to produce a certificate issued by a medical officer not below the rank of DMO or an approved medical officer of the bank. “If applications are not received under the physically challenged category, it will be utilized under the general category,” informed the statement.
