Delhi University extends payment deadline till 11.59; over 35,000 admissions complete

Download NowNEW DELHI: Delhi University has extended the payment deadline till 11.59 today for admission against its first cut-off list. Earlier, the last date for payment by candidates against 1st cut-off list was till 5 pm today.
The university received as many as 60,904 applications for admission in different undergraduate courses against the first cut-off list. Around 35805 candidates secured their seat by making the payment by October 8.
DU received 60,904 applications for the admissions against the Delhi University 1st cut-off list 2021 out of which 14,205 applications were approved and 35,805 students paid the fees.

The last date to apply under the first cut- off list was October 7. The university will verify the documents by October 8 and finalise the admissions against the first cut-off list. Candidates have to make the payment by October 8, 5 pm. Students who did not make it in the first cut off list will now have to wait for the second cut off list which is scheduled to be released on October 9.

The admissions process for students who qualify to apply under DU 2nd cut-off list will begin from October 11 and will continue till October 13 (11:59 pm). The deadline to make the fee payment against the DU second cut-off list 2021 is October 15.
With the end of the first round of admissions at Delhi University, seats in many popular courses are filled in few DU colleges. Hindu College and Miranda House College will not release the second cut-off list for BA Hons Political Science as the seats in these programmes are already grabbed by the students.
