Download NowThe University of Delhi has begun phase 2 registrations for DU UG admissions 2025 through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal, admission.uod.ac.in. A total of 2,65,213 candidates have already applied for the admission process through the CUET scores, the data shared by the university revealed.
Delhi University colleges have dominated the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) by grabbing the top positions last year. Hindu College was ranked number 1 under the NIRF college category, followed by Miranda House and St Stephens's College in second and third position. Now that the university has begun phase 2 of the registration process, candidates can check the DU cut-off rank and scores for the top 10 DU colleges.
Three more DU colleges – Atma Ram Sanatan Dharm College at rank 5, Kirori Mal College at 9, and Lady Shri Ram College for Women – featured in the top 10 by securing rank 5, 9, and 10. Hans Raj College, Deshbandhu College, Acharya Narendra Dev College 18, and Shri Ram College of Commerce also managed to grab a spot in top 20.
The DU choice filling facility will remain open until July 14. During this time period, students are required to submit their choice of courses and colleges in the order of preference. To make a better choice and increase the chances of admission, candidates are advised to check the DU cut-offs for these colleges.
CUET UG maximum marks
Delhi University will offer admission to its UG courses based on the marks obtained by candidates in the Common University Entrance Test ( CUET 2025 ). However, there is one crucial thing to keep in mind while checking the DU cut-off trends – total scores.
The NTA allowed candidates to choose a maximum of 6 subjects last year, each subject having a total of 250 scores. According to this, the maximum possible marks were 1,500. However, several students opted for fewer subjects – 3 or 4 – so the total marks ranged from 750 - 1,000.
This year, the NTA reduced the subject choice to 5, but the subjects had the same total score of 250. The maximum possible marks decreased to 1,250. As most students opted for three subjects, the total marks will range from 750 - 1,250.
DU cut-off trends for top colleges
Here are the DU CUET cut-off trends from the first two rounds of seat allocation at top colleges for the unreserved category. Candidates should note that these cut-offs are indicative, as the maximum CUET scores may vary depending on the number of subjects opted for.
