Delhi University UG admission 2023 still going on; mop-up round registration starts tomorrow

Download NowNEW DELHI: Delhi University will start the registration for the mop-up round of admissions to undergraduate programmes offered by the university tomorrow. The candidates can visit the official website, admission.uod.ac.in, to register and check the list of selected colleges and programmes that have been selected for the DU mop-up round UG admission 2023.
Candidates will have to register for the admission process by October 10. Students who will be allotted seats in the mop-up round will have to complete the admission process by October 20.
The students will have to apply for the DU UG admission mop-up round at the preferred college. They will have to file the application as per the procedure mentioned by the college. There will be no registration fee for this round. The university has advised the students to ensure that their documents are updated and valid.
The admission will be held on the basis of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET 2023). If seats remain vacant after exhausting the CUET 2023 applicants, colleges can admit students on the basis of the qualifying examination, the university said. It added that no admission will be done on supernumerary seats.
The university said the decision to conduct the mop-up round has been taken on the directions of University Grants Commission (UGC). The university also received request of colleges and some candidates to conduct the round, it added.

Documents Required for DU admissions 2023
- Class 10 and 12 passing certificate
- Class 10 and 12 mark-sheet
- Class XII mark-sheet
- Character certificate
- CUET score card
- Category certificate, if applicable
- Transfer certificate from school/college as well as migration certificate from board or university for students who have passed the senior secondary exam from outside Delhi
- Two passport size self-attested photographs.
