Netaji Subhas University of Technology: The Centre of Artificial Intelligence at NSUT includes a supercomputer that can be accessed by other universities too.
NEW DELHI: Delhi government has launched the Centre of Artificial Intelligence at the Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) which includes a supercomputer, Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia said in a tweet. The initiative aims to enable study in the field of big data and high-end graphics. The supercomputer at NSUT can be accessed by other universities too.
"A major milestone for Higher Education in Delhi! Delhi Govt launches Centre of Artificial Intelligence at NSUT, with a modern Supercomputer which can be accessed by other universities too. This will allow world-class efforts in upcoming fields of Big Data & High-End Graphics," Sisodia tweeted.

Recently, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee established a supercomputing infrastructure on the IIT Roorkee campus in partnership with the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC) for research and development. The facility was established under the National Supercomputing Mission through a joint initiative of the department of science and technology (DST) and the ministry of electronics and information technology (MeitY).
