CUET UG 2026: NTA asks candidates to update Aadhaar, UDID, category certificate before registration

Try NowThe National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the Common University Entrance Test - Undergraduate (CUET) in May 2026. NTA has advised candidates to update their Aadhaar, UDID card, and category certificate as required before the CUET UG 2026 application begins to avoid any discrepancies, grievances or rejection at a later stage.
NTA will open the online application window for CUET UG 2026 registration on the official website, cuet.nta.nic.in
NTA conduct the CUET 2026 exam for UG admissions to 47 central universities and more than 300 colleges across the country. The CUET exam will be held for 37 subjects in a computer-based test (CBT) mode.

CUET UG 2026 important document updation
The list of required documents to be uploaded is as follows.
- Applicants must update their Aadhaar Card with the correct name, date of birth (as per Class 10, latest photograph, address, and father's name.
- UDID Cards or Disability Certificates for persons with disabilities must be valid and renewed.
- Category certificates (EWS/SC/ST/OBC-NCL) need to be updated and valid.
“To streamline the process for CUET (UG)-2026, all eligible aspirants are advised to ensure that the following documents are updated well in advance/ before applying for the CUET (UG)-2026, in order to avoid any discrepancies, grievances or rejection at a later stage,” the official NTA notice reads.
