NTA opens CUET UG 2025 portal to apply for accountancy retest

Try NowThe National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the portal for Common University Entrance Test - Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2025 candidates to provide their consent to appear in re-test for accountancy paper with revised exam pattern. Aspirants who appeared for the CUET UG 2025 accountancy exam held between May 13 and 16 can submit their interest for re-exam by 1 pm on May 23 on the official website, cuet.nta.nic.in.
The testing agency recently revised CUET UG exam pattern 2025 for accountancy paper and informed that those who already took the exam will be given an opportunity to either retain their exam or appear for re-test.
CUET UG 2025: Rules for re-exam
NTA issued the following rules for candidates who wish to appear in the retest:
- This opportunity is provided only to the candidates who appeared for the accountancy paper in the CUET UG 2025 held from May 13, 2025 to May 16, 2025.
- Once the candidate appears for the re-test, her or his final NTA score will be solely based on the score obtained in the re-test of accountancy. The score from the first attempt will be disregarded.
- If a candidate confirms participation in the re-test but fails to appear, the candidate will be marked as absent in the exam, and no score will be considered for the accountancy paper.
- If the candidate does not apply for re-test, the scores obtained in the test conducted during May 13, 2025 to May 16, 2025 shall be considered as final score.
The details regarding CUET UG retest 2025 date, time, and centre will be notified soon on the official website. “The candidates are also advised to keep visiting NTA website(s) https://nta.ac.in and https://cuet.nta.nic.in for the latest updates regarding the exam,” NTA added.
