Try NowNEW DELHI: The Common University Entrance Test - undergraduate (CUET UG 2024) exams will be conducted from May 15 and May 31, 2024. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be holding the third-edition of the CUET exam 2024 for UG admission to central universities and other participating colleges.
The CUET UG registration 2024 has not been announced yet. However, the CUET UG application form 2024 will be hosted on the official website, cuet.samarth.ac.in. Students who are going to appear in the upcoming Class 12 board exam 2024 and wish to study UG courses offered by central and state universities will have to mandatorily appear in the exam to be considered eligible.
A total of 249 universities grant admission to UG courses through CUET UG 2024. With nearly 15 lakh students registering last year, the NTA CUET exam is the second-largest national-level entrance exam after the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET).
Candidates had applied for 64,35,144 unique combinations of subjects. The total number of question papers was 2,305 and the number of questions was 1,48,520.
The exam will be held in 13 languages - English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
CUET UG syllabus 2024
Due to the reduction of the syllabus across the different educational boards, candidates will be given overall choices in all subjects. In all subjects, candidates have to attempt any 40 questions out of 50 except for the General Test where 50 questions will have to be attempted out of 60.
