CUET PG 2023: 15 new universities join; courses added, removed, modified

CUET PG 2023: NTA also informed about amendments in typographical errors and changes in name of degree, programme, university, test paper codes.
NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has informed about amendments in typographical errors, addition of new courses and universities, removal of courses, and other changes in the Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate (CUET PG) 2023. Candidates can apply for the exam by April 19. CUET PG 2023 will be held from June 1 to June 10 for admission to postgraduate programmes in central, state, deemed, and private universities across the country.
According to the official notification, 15 more universities have joined the list of participating universities for CUET PG 2023 which are as follows:
- English and Foreign Languages University
- Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University; Parul University, Vadodara
- Netaji Subhas University of Technology, Dwarka
- Shri Vishwakarma Skill University
- SRM University Delhi-NCR, Sonepat
- Gyani Inder Singh Institute of Professional Studies affiliated with Veer Madho Singh Bhandari Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun
- University of Science & Technology, Meghalaya
- Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida
- Sharda University
- Indian Culinary Institute in collaboration with Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, Amarkantak
- Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, Rajouri, J&K
- Quantum University
- Binod Bihari Mahto Koyalanchal University, Dhanbad
- TERI School of Advanced Studies, New Delhi

CUET PG 2023: Courses added, removed, amended
The universities which have added courses offered by them in CUET PG 2023 are:
- University of Jammu - 2 courses
- Pondicherry University - 2 courses
- Hyderabad University
- SRM University, AP
- Dr BR Ambedkar University Delhi
- Somaiya Vidyavihar University
- Tripura University
- Dr Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya Sagar
Some universities have removed while others have modified the courses offered by them. The universities which have removed courses include Sangam University, Bhilwara, Rajasthan (removed MSc Agricultural Science), Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur (2), and Dr Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya Sagar whereas those which have amended courses include University of Hyderabad, Sikkim University, North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), and Dr BR Ambedkar University Delhi.

Moreover, the following typographical errors have been corrected in the CUET PG 2023 information bulletin:
- Hindu Studies (ACQP08) will be done in Sanskrit and English instead of English and Hindi
- The list of question paper codes with courses for two BEd programmes (COQP06 BEd Mathematics and COQP07 BEd Science) has been updated.
- COQP12 Pattern 3 (100 MCQ Questions Language Comprehension, General Knowledge, Computer Basics and Logical Reasoning) will be read as COQP12 Pattern 3 (100 MCQ Questions Language Comprehension/ Verbal Ability, Mathematical/ Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning).
Further, NTA informed that the University of Delhi has changed the name of degree along with Hyderabad University which has modified the name of the degree as MVA (Master of Visual Arts) instead of MFA for courses mentioned in HUQP07 – painting, print making, sculpture, and art history and visual studies. The Central University of Jharkhand has changed the name of programmes while the Central University of Gujarat has changed the test paper code. Central University of Hyderabad will now be read as University of Hyderabad while Dr B R Ambedkar University New Delhi will be read as Dr BR Ambedkar University Delhi.
