Try NowNEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2025 from May 8 to June 1. Students going to appear for the entrance test this year will have to meet the minimum CUET passing marks 2025 to be eligible for admissions.
The entrance exam will be held in computer-based test (CBT) mode for candidates seeking undergraduate admissions in central, state, and other participating universities. The CUET 2025 exam will be conducted for 37 subjects including 13 languages, 23 domain-specific subjects, and one general aptitude test.
As per the official CUET syllabus 2025, a total of 8 topics have been dropped . The CUET syllabus for domain-specific subjects will be based on the curriculum prescribed by the NCERT. The CUET UG exam will be held in 13 Indian languages - Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
CUET passing marks 2025
To qualify for CUET UG 2025 , candidates must secure passing marks. The CUET UG passing marks are the minimum score required for any student to qualify for the exam. The CUET passing marks vary based on category and university admission criteria. NTA does not specify fixed qualifying marks; instead, participating universities determine the CUET cut-off for different courses.
Based on past trends, the CUET minimum passing marks for admission to participating universities are expected to be around 400-500. However, for top institutions like Delhi University, Jawaharlal Nehru University, and Banaras Hindu University, the cut-off will likely be higher.
The CUET qualifying marks are determined after the declaration of results, taking into account factors like the number of applicants, exam difficulty level, reservation, programme and seat availability.
