How will NTA conduct CUET UG 2025?
This year, the NTA will be conducting the UG entrance exam in online computer-based test (CBT) mode, the UGC chairman Jagadesh Kumar said. The exam underwent a major rejig after it faced several criticism for the lack of transparency and alleged malpractices in the exam.
In other major changes for CUET 2025 , the number of subjects have been reduced from 63 to 37 and students will be given the flexibility to choose the papers appearing for even if they have not studied the subject in Class 12. Moreover, students will be allowed to select only five subjects to appear in the exam. Last year, the NTA allowed applicants to choose six subjects.
Additionally, the NTA will hold exams for all papers for a duration of 60 minutes or 1 hour, contrary to last year’s exam timings which varied for different subjects.
