NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the registration for the Common University Entrance Test undergraduate (CUET UG) 2025. The testing agency will conduct CUET UG 2025 exam from May 8 to June 1 in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. Eligible candidates can fill out the CUET UG application form 2025 on the newly launched official website, cuet.nta.nic.in.

As per the CUET UG 2025 dates, NTA CUET UG application correction window will open on March 24, 2025 and applicants will be able to edit their details till March 26, 2025.

Students who are appearing for Class 12 board exam 2025 and those who have cleared the intermediate or equivalent examination will be eligible to appear for the exam. The CUET exam will be held in May and the results will be declared in June, as per earlier reports and previous years’ trends.

How will NTA conduct CUET UG 2025?

This year, the NTA will be conducting the UG entrance exam in online computer-based test (CBT) mode, the UGC chairman Jagadesh Kumar said. The exam underwent a major rejig after it faced several criticism for the lack of transparency and alleged malpractices in the exam.

In other major changes for CUET 2025, the number of subjects have been reduced from 63 to 37 and students will be given the flexibility to choose the papers appearing for even if they have not studied the subject in Class 12. Moreover, students will be allowed to select only five subjects to appear in the exam. Last year, the NTA allowed applicants to choose six subjects.

Additionally, the NTA will hold exams for all papers for a duration of 60 minutes or 1 hour, contrary to last year’s exam timings which varied for different subjects.
