Check Now testThe Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2026 city intimation slip for the February session exam. Candidates who applied for the exam can download the CTET February 2026 city slip through the official website at ctet.nic.in, using their login details.
The CTET 2026 examination is scheduled to be held on February 8, 2026.The CBSE has not yet announced the release date for the CTET 2026 admit card. Candidates will be able to download the admit card through the official website once out.
CTET is a national-level eligibility exam conducted twice a year. It is mandatory for candidates who wish to apply for teaching positions in central government schools such as Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalayas (NVS). The eligibility test is applicable for teaching aspirants aiming to work in Classes 1 to 8.

CTET 2026 exam
CTET 2026 will take place in two shifts—the first shift from 9:30 am to 12:00 noon, and the second shift from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm. The test will include 150 questions carrying a total of 150 marks.
The exam is divided into two papers: Paper 1 for primary classes (1 to 5) and Paper 2 for upper primary classes (6 to 8).
CBSE has reported the highest record 25.30 lakh registrations for the CTET February 2026 exam, higher than the 20 lakh registrations seen in the July session and 16 lakh in December 2024. As per the latest figures shared by the board, 1,61,127 applications were left incomplete after the registration window closed on December 18 at 11.59 pm.
