Candidates will require their application number and password to download the CBSE CTET admit card 2026.
Recently, CBSE announced that due to the rise in the number of applications for the exam, the test will be conducted on two days, February 7 and 8. Earlier, CTET 2026 was scheduled on Feb 8.

CBSE CTET 2026 exam timings
CBSE will hold the CTET 2026 exam across 140 cities. CTET 2026 exam will be held in two shifts, morning shift paper 2 from 9:30 am to 12 noon, and paper 1 in the afternoon shift from 2:30 pm to 5 pm on both days.
CTET is held in 20 languages, including English, Hindi, Assamese, Tamil, Telugu, Tibetan, Kannada, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Manipuri, Marathi, Nepali, Oriya, Bangla, Garo, Khasi, Malayalam, Mizo, Gujarati, and Urdu. As per reports, CBSE may soon include the Maithili language as an option in the paper.
CTET is held for candidates seeking to teach Classes 1 to 8 in central government schools and other institutions that recognise CTET scores. The exam consists of two papers: Paper I for teaching primary Classes 1 to 5, and Paper II for upper primary Classes 6 to 8.
