CTET 2024 pre-admit card expected release date; exam to be held at 284 cities

Check Now testNEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will issue the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) January 2024 exam city slip soon on the official website, ctet.nic.in. As per past trends, CTET exam city intimation slip is expected to be out between January 10 to 13.
The CTET admit card 2024 for the January session will be issued on January 19, three days prior to the exam date. The board will conduct the teacher eligibility test on January 21 at 284 exam cities across the country.
Candidates will have to key in their CTET application number and date of birth on the exam city slip link to view and download. The exam city slip will be issued to intimate candidates about where the exam centre will be.
Applicants should note that the test city slip and admit card are different. The CTET 2024 admit card will have details of exam centre, address of the venue, exam date, shift timing and candidate’s information.
“The candidates, who complete the online application process and pay the fee on first come first served basis, will be allotted the examination city of their choice as per availability in that particular city,” the official notification said.
The exam will be conducted in two shifts - shift 1 from 9.30 am to 12 noon and shift 2 from 2.30 pm to 5 pm. More than 28 lakh candidates have registered for the CTET exam 2024. Candidates will have to mandatorily carry the hall ticket to the exam centre for verification purposes.
