CSIR NET Result 2025: Candidates should enter their application number and date of birth to download the CSIR NET scorecard.
NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the result for the Joint Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-National Eligibility Test (CSIR NET) December 2024 session exam today, April 17. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their CSIR NET result through the official website at csirnet.nta.ac.in. Candidates will have to enter their application number and date of birth to log in and download the CSIR NET scorecard 2025.
As per the official notice, a total of 2,38,451 candidates registered for the exam, out of which 1,74,785 candidates appeared. The testing agency conducted the CSIR UGC NET December 2024 in computer-based test (CBT) mode on February 28, March 1 and March 2, 2025. The test was conducted in five subjects at 326 centres across 164 cities.
The highest number of candidates appeared for chemical sciences, with 39,452 candidates taking the exam on February 28 in shift 2. This was followed by life sciences, with 37,522 candidates appearing in shift 1 on March 1. The NTA will soon issue the CSIR NET cut-off for the December 2024 exam on the official website.
The CSIR NET provisional answer keys, question paper and recorded responses were made available on the official website from March 11 to March 14, 2025. The CSIR UCE NET final answer keys were prepared based on the expert-verified challenges and used for result processing.
“Scores of the exam are now hosted on https://csirnet.nta.ac.in. Candidates can login to the website using their application number and date of birth and view/download/print their respective Score Card. No Score Card will be dispatched to the candidates in hard copy by post or through e-mail,” the official notice said.
