Coronavirus: BHU postpones all entrance tests scheduled till May 10

NEW DELHI : Banaras Hindu University has postponed all the entrance tests to be held between April 26 to May 10, in order to control the spread of COVID 19 outbreak in the country. These entrance tests include school and university admission tests.
The entrance test for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes which were to be conducted on April 26 and May 10 for BPA, BFA, M.PEd, MCA, MFA, MPA, MA Linguistics and few M.Sc programmes have been cancelled, until further notice.
However, the dates for the rest of the UET/PETs to be conducted between May 18 to May 29 remain unchanged.
All the school entrance tests for class 6th, 9th and 11th which were to be held between May 1 to 6 have also been postponed.
The official notification also said “The fresh dates for the entrance tests scheduled on said days would be announced later. Applicants are advised to visit the university’s entrance test portal regularly for updates related to the conduct of entrance tests”.
