“With India’s growing water crisis due to exploited farming methods and depleted groundwater levels, many farmers across India are facing problems involving water shortages that lead to low productivity of crops. The application that was created by Code Hydrotopes suggests planting various other crops instead of the conventional crops that farmers used to grow regularly so that they can minimize the risks of low productivity and loss in their venture. The judges commented that this application is going to help thousands of farmers for selecting the right crop for the season,” an official statement from CMRIT said.
