CMA Course: ICMAI exempts CAT pass out students from appearing in Business Laws and Ethics paper

Download EBookNEW DELHI: The Council of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India has exempted Common Admission Test (CAT) pass out students from appearing in Business Laws and Ethics paper.
In the 337th meeting held on September 11, October 19 and November 27, it was decided to grant subject exemption to CAT pass out students for pursuing the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) course under syllabus 2022.
The exemption from appearing in paper 5 - Business Laws and Ethics - under the intermediate course was announced today on the official website, icmai.in.
“Applications for exemption to be made to the Directorate of Studies, as per the guidelines,” the ICMAI said.
The ICMAI has recently closed the CMA Foundation, Intermediate and Final courses registration window on February 10.
As per the ICMAI CMA syllabus, the Intermediate course has 8 papers. The Business Laws and Ethics paper is under group 1. Candidates can check the CMA syllabus in the table given below.
