The Consortium of National Law Universities has started the registration process for Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026. Eligible aspirants can fill the CLAT application form 2026 online on the official website, consortiumofnlus.ac.in. CLAT 2026 registration last date is October 31.
As per the CLAT 2026 eligibility criteria, candidates who have passed Class 12 or equivalent exam with a minimum of 45% of marks or equivalent grade (40% marks in the case of SC, ST, PwD categories) are eligible for UG exam. Those appearing for the qualifying exam in March, April 2026 are also eligible.
In case of PG, applicants must have an LLB degree or an equivalent qualification with at least 50% marks or its equivalent (45% marks for SC, ST, PwD).
CLAT 2026 will be conducted offline on December 7 from 2 pm to 4 pm for determining the eligibility of candidates for admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes in the NLUs and participating law institutes. CLAT UG 2026 will be held for LLB and CLAT PG 2026 for LLM.
