CLAT 2026: Candidates can edit their details in the application forms and update their test city preferences by November 9.
The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLU) will close the registration window for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026 today, November 7. Candidates who have not applied yet for undergraduate, postgraduate law courses can fill the CLAT application form 2026 on the official website, consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
The consortium has commenced the CLAT 2026 application form correction and registered students can update their exam city preferences and edit their details by November 9.
The application fee for candidates belonging to general, OBC, PwD, and NRI categories is Rs 4,000 whereas SC, ST, and BPL candidates will have to pay Rs 3,500 in order to register for the entrance exam.
As per the eligibility criteria, candidates applying for CLAT UG 2026 should have secured in Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognised board whereas those applying for CLAT PG 2026 should have scored 50% or equivalent grade in LLB. Applicants belonging to SC and ST categories will get 5% relaxation in minimum qualifying marks in each exam.
CLAT 2026 will be conducted on December 7 for admissions to UG, PG law programmes offered by 25 National Law Universities (NLUs) across the country.

The steps to register for CLAT exam 2026 are as follows:
- Visit the official website for CLAT 2026, consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
- On the homepage, click on the link to register
- Register yourselves and login with generated credentials
- Fill the application form and upload the documents
- Pay the application fee and submit
- Download the form and take a print out
