CLAT 2025 tomorrow; UG, PG question paper pattern, marking scheme

CLAT 2025 will be held on December 1 for undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes.
NEW DELHI: The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) will conduct the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025 exam tomorrow, December 1, for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes offered by NLUs and other participating law schools for the academic session 2025-26. CLAT UG 2025 and CLAT PG 2025 will be conducted in the offline mode.
The duration of CLAT 2025 will be two hours and CLAT 2025 exam timings are from 2 pm to 4 pm. The exam will be held from 2 pm to 4:40 pm for candidates belonging to the Persons with Disability (PwD) categories.
CLAT 2025 exam pattern
According to the CLAT 2025 exam pattern, the question paper will consist of 120 multiple-choice questions carrying one mark each. It is mandatory for students to attempt all the questions. The exam will be held for a total of 120 marks. There will be negative marking and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong response.
In the CLAT UG 2025 question paper, questions will be asked on five topics – English language, current affairs including general knowledge, legal reasoning, logical reasoning, and quantitative techniques.
The subject-wise weightage in CLAT UG 2025 will be as follows:

On the other hand, the CLAT UG 2025 question paper will include questions on constitutional law, other areas of law such as jurisprudence, administrative law, law of contract, torts, family law, criminal law, property law, company law, public international law, tax law, environmental law, and labour and industrial law.
