CLAT 2023 application form to open soon; Know eligibility, syllabus and exam details

CLAT 2023 will be held on December 18, 2022. The score of CLAT 2023 will be used for admission to LLB and LLM programmes offered by 22 NLUs.
NEW DELHI: CLAT 2023 application form for UG and PG programmes will open soon on its official website - consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has opened the CLAT 2023 portal. It has advised the candidates to register for CLAT 2023 latest news and updates.
The official notification reads, “A Registration form, along with additional instructions, shall be released shortly.” This is for the first time, that two CLAT exams are being conducted in the same year. CLAT 2022 has been concluded with the completion of the counselling process on July 20, 2022. The exam was held on June 19, 2022, in 131 exam centres across the country.
CLAT 2023 eligibility criteria
CLAT is conducted for both 5-year LLB and LLM programmes. The course-wise eligibility criteria are as mentioned below.
5-year LLB - Candidates should have completed Class 12 or an equivalent qualification with at least 45% marks (40% in the case of SC and ST candidates).
LLM - Candidates applying for CLAT LLM should have completed graduation in Law from a recognised university with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% in the case of SC and ST candidates).
CLAT syllabus 2023
The offline-based UG-CLAT 2023 examination will have 150 objective-type questions on subjects such as general knowledge, legal aptitude, logical reasoning, quantitative ability and English comprehension. The PG CLAT 2023 will have questions on various subjects of LLB programmes.

CLAT 2023 will be conducted on December 18, 2022, in offline mode. The national-level law entrance exam will be accepted by 22 national law universities and several affiliated law colleges and universities.
