CLAT 2022 will be held as scheduled in 131 exam centres; NLU Consortium

CLAT 2022 will not be postponed. It will be conducted tomorrow, in 131 exam centres in 25 states across the country.
NEW DELHI: The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) will conduct the CLAT 2022 tomorrow, June 19, 2022, as per the schedule. There will be no change in the CLAT exam date due to ongoing Agnipath protests according to the exam authorities.
“The Consortium of National Law Universities will conduct the Common Law Admission Test 2022 for BA LLB and LLM admissions on June 19, 2022, Sunday between 2 - 4 pm. The examination will be conducted at 131 examination centres in 25 states across India. The consortium has taken all necessary steps to ensure a Covid safe environment for all students, staff and faculty” the consortium said in a statement.

“The executive committee of the consortium met on June 18, 2022, and reviewed all the arrangements made for the conduct of the exam. The committee considered concerns raised by some candidates arising out of the emerging situation in some areas. We have received assurances from all concerned authorities of their full support for the conduct of the examination. Candidates are advised to make arrangements to reach their examination centre well in advance of the scheduled time.” it said.

CLAT 2022 will be held in 135 cities across the country. Candidates have already been issued the admit cards for the examination on June 06, 2022. The exam will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm, in offline mode.
Advisory for North East candidates
Earlier, the consortium had issued an advisory for candidates who are appearing in the exam centres of the North East region. It has advised the candidates to reach the day before the exam at the city of their exam centre to avoid any issues to due adverse weather conditions.
