CISCE reduces ICSE and ISC syllabus for the current academic year 2020-21

NEW DELHI : The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) has reduced the ICSE and ISC syllabus 2020-21. The revised syllabus is available on the official website: cisce.org. Classes 9 to 12 students can download the latest syllabus from publication menu bar from the official website.

Schools have been shut for the past three months due to nation-wide lockdown and COVID-19 pandemic. However, many CISCE affiliated schools are trying to keep the classes continue in online mode. But there is a shortening of time the academic year 2020-21. So, CISCE decided to reduce the syllabus keeping the current situation in mind.

CISCE worked with subject experts to reduce the syllabus of major subjects and ensured linear progression across the classes. Core concepts of the subjects are retained.
Earlier, the council cancelled Class 10 ISCE pending exams and marks for these subjects will be given as per new marking scheme .
