Try NowNEW DELHI: The Directorate of Medical Education, Chhattisgarh (CGDME) has issued the provisional allotment list for the first round of the undergraduate counselling through the National Eligibility Entrance Test – Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024. Candidates who participated in the Chhattisgarh NEET UG counselling 2024 for admission to MBBS, BDS programmes can check the seat allotment on the official website, cgdme.admissions.nic.in.

A total of 1,967 applicants including 1,632 MBBS and 332 BDS have secured seats in the first round of counselling. Seat allotted candidates are required to report to the allotted institute for the mandatory verification of documents between August 31 and September 5, as per the counselling schedule. After the scrutiny process, applicants have to pay the prescribed fee and complete admissions.
Candidates willing to upgrade from round 1 to round 2 have to login in their candidate portal and declare willingness to upgrade. After using this option, their previous choice list will be considered null and void and the candidate will have to exercise fresh choices with locking and final submission.

- Go to the official website of CGDME, cgdme.admissions.nic.in
- Click on the link “Round 1 provisional allotment list for UG counselling 2024”
- Candidates will be redirected to a PDF link, click on it
- CG NEET UG seat allotment 2024 pdf will be displayed
- Download the PDF for future reference
The directorate had informed that it will be mandatory for the candidates to take admission in the government medical college allotted in round 1 counselling, however, the rule does not apply to private institutes and government dental colleges. Free exit with forfeiture of registration fee is available only in the first round.
